Nickel price dropping as market remain soft

London Metal Exchange said that the nickel drops last for 3 days with inventory hits high level about 100,000 tonnes compared with few years ago. Other sources mentioned that the nickel has dropped more than 15% in first two months this year.

However, stainless steel mills have to be more careful on the costs expense due to economic downturn at this moment. Meanwhile, one of European stainless steel mill which is Acerinox SA has cut its jobs in order to save unnecessary costs.
